Description

Cherokee Ridge truly offers golf at a higher level, with immaculate greens set against a spectacular Appalachian backdrop. A 6,700-yard par 72 masterpiece, the layout is designed to satisfy round after round. This is a home course properly defined, with all the amenities to make it sweet, indeed. A fully stocked pro shop offers the latest equipment and apparel. And attentive member services round out the experience, with men's and ladies' locker rooms just downstairs from a 19th hole you'll enjoy as much as the course.

The championship layout fits naturally into the landscape. The course takes every advantage of rolling hills, whispering woods, lakes and streams - natural beauty that enhances, not punishes. Much of the front nine is guarded by a 17-acre lake - an added challenge and certainly a beautiful diversion. The back nine turns through a forest of pines and hardwoods, with three holes re-configured to include a view of an 80-foot waterfall cascading into Lynn's Creek. A scenic view worthy of any nature photographer, it's a natural feature that captures the true essence of the Ridge.

Greens are bent grass and perfectly kept, and lush Bermuda fairways make short work of shots from the short grass. The pro-class facility rounds things out with two practice putting greens and a driving range.

Situated high on a knoll overlooking both the golf course and a sparkling 17-acre lake, this lovely Cape Cod-inspired retreat can accommodate 15 to 20 guests.
