Another beauty, Ballantrae was designed by Bob Cupp who also crafted HighlandPark Golf Course just one mile from downtown Birmingham where a $4.5 million renovation has transformed it into an urban beauty while Eagle Point Golf Club designed by Earl Stone is considered one of the best courses in the southeast. The course at the Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa is the newest addition to the RTJ Trail. (2005) and the third longest course in the world at 8,191 yards. Although priced at a un-RTJ-trail-like $90-$125, it is still a bargain considering the quality.
